"I feel isolated from the pulse of
industry..."
~ A
rural industrial manager |
|
This luncheon has been established to offer a meeting venue for the
leaders of industrial companies in rural Central Texas. There is no structure... There are no dues...
There are no sponsors required...
All that is expected is that you show up for lunch at the place
announced, buy your own lunch, and spend a couple of hours visiting with others that face the same
management, operations, logistics, and maintenance issues unique to rural
industrial operations. We hope to see you there.
Organizer's Note:
I live in Gonzales, Texas,
and work all over the United States and some work overseas;
however, when I am home it is as if I am in a vacuum and
isolated from all of the everyday industrial and technical
contacts I have in Houston, Victoria, Austin, and San Antonio.
It came to me one day that we have a significant industrial base
within 50 miles of Gonzales and there is no reason why we can't
get together and visit at least once a month. So, I decided to
take it upon myself to start a monthly meeting. All you have to
do is show up, eat, and visit. I hope to see a lot of you soon.
